Wahid bin Ahsan is a UX and Human-Centered Design (HCD) strategist with over 20 years of experience advancing ethical, inclusive, and accessible design across sectors including healthcare, education, finance, and digital public services.
As Co-founder of Userhub, Bangladesh’s leading institution for UX education and applied research, Wahid has played a pivotal role in shaping the national discourse on user-centered innovation. He developed frameworks such as the SEED Framework (for evidence-based, inclusive problem-solving) and EDIT UX (for redesigning digital systems around real user needs).
Wahid’s work addresses critical societal challenges—digital literacy, financial inclusion, and online harm—by grounding design in behavioral research, ethical principles, and accessibility standards like WCAG 2.1 and ISO 9241-210. His research spans trust in digital platforms, the behavioral effects of misinformation, and usability in mobile financial services.
He has led UX strategy and evaluation for platforms serving over 200,000 users and contributed to a WASH initiative that influenced the hygiene behavior of more than 2 million people.
As a trainer and mentor, Wahid has guided thousands of students, designers, and development practitioners through field-based education, workshops, and boot camps—equipping them to design with empathy, clarity, and social impact in mind.
Wahid is a frequent speaker and contributor to dialogues on digital accessibility, inclusive design, and ethical technology across global forums.
