Aims and scope
Userhub Journal is an interdisciplinary, diamond open-access research journal with a human-centered orientation, published by Userhub Ltd. in Bangladesh. It publishes empirical, applied, methodological, conceptual, and review scholarship concerned with people, technology, services, institutions, education, work, and society.
The Journal approaches these fields through questions about human experience, capability, participation, behaviour, interaction, and the systems and conditions that shape them. It supports research that combines methodological rigour, contextual understanding, and relevance to scholarly, professional, policy, and public-interest questions.
Research may focus on Bangladesh, South Asia, or other settings. Context-specific studies are welcome when their questions, evidence, or interpretation contribute meaningfully to wider scholarly or professional understanding.

The Journal publishes interdisciplinary research across the following areas:
- Digital Accessibility and Inclusion : accessibility, inclusive digital systems, disability and technology, digital participation, usability barriers, and equitable access to digital services.
- Digital Commerce, Behavior, and Trust : e-commerce, digital financial services, consumer behaviour, trust, credibility, service experience, risk, and accountability in digital transactions.
- Education, Literacy, and Learning Systems : education, digital and information literacy, higher and vocational education, learning technologies, teaching and learning practices, capability development, and educational participation.
- Health, Well-being, and Social Equity : physical and mental wellbeing, health information, social conditions, inequality, vulnerability, inclusion, participation, and the social dimensions of health and everyday life.
- Sustainability, Environment, and Communities : environmental behaviour, sustainability, community systems, resilience, public-interest challenges, and the relationship between people, place, services, and environmental conditions.
- Technology, Society, and Ethics : artificial intelligence, digital media, misinformation, privacy, technology use, ethics, social consequences of technology, and emerging questions at the intersection of technology and society.
- User Experience and Design Research : user experience, human-centered design, design practice, service design, evaluation, participatory approaches, frameworks, methods, and research-informed design models.
Research approaches and contributions
The Journal welcomes qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, experimental, observational, evaluative, participatory, design-based, review-based, and methodological research where the approach is appropriate to the research question and the claims made.
Articles may contribute through original empirical findings, methodological development, conceptual clarification, contextual explanation, evaluation, evidence synthesis, or the development and assessment of research-informed frameworks and tools.
The Journal values clear research questions or purposes, transparent methods, appropriate engagement with relevant scholarship, analytical depth, evidence that supports the claims made, proportionate interpretation, explicit limitations, and implications that are meaningful for research, practice, policy, design, education, organisations, or public life.

Userhub Journal is intended for researchers, academics, practitioners, designers, technology professionals, educators, policymakers, public-sector professionals, civil-society organisations, and others who work with evidence about people, technology, services, education, institutions, and society.
Scholarly standards and publication model
Userhub Journal follows a continuous-publication model. Manuscripts undergo substantive editorial and research-integrity assessment appropriate to the article type, subject, methods, evidence, and claims.
Assessment considers the significance and clarity of the research question or purpose, methodological coherence, adequacy and transparency of evidence, quality of analysis, relationship between evidence and claims, engagement with relevant scholarship, limitations, contextual interpretation, and the value of the contribution.
Additional subject or methodological expertise may be sought where it would strengthen assessment. Publication decisions may require revision and are made only when the manuscript meets the Journal's relevant scholarly and research-integrity standards.
Publisher and research context
Userhub Journal is published by Userhub Ltd., Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Journal publishes research developed through Userhub's research programmes and collaborations and may also consider relevant contributions from other researchers or organisations following a pre-publication enquiry.

Open access and scholarly record
The Journal operates on a diamond open-access basis. Authors are not charged submission, processing, or publication fees. Authors retain copyright, and published work is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence.
Published articles receive persistent Digital Object Identifiers through Crossref and form part of the Journal's public scholarly record.
