ICT Division Appoints Userhub CXO as National Juror
Information & Communication Technology Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology appointed Userhub’s Co-founder Wahid bin Ahsan as the Honorable Jury panel member of the selection committee for National Mobile Apps Award 2015 program.
National Mobile Application Award 2015 is organized by the ICT Division of Ministry of Post & Telecommunication in Bangladesh in collaboration with World Summit Award. NMA Award’14 is an initiative to select and promote the Bangladeshi best in mobile content and innovative applications. It aims to make the benefits of the new Information Society accessible and meaningful for all humanity, and in particular, to raise public awareness and give deserved public recognition to the highest quality mobile application based initiative.The submissions are evaluated by National Grand Jury, who select the 8 winners. The winners are invited to the Digital World 2015 to showcase their innovation. Being nominated for the National Mobile App Award means that your product is the best in the country in one of our 8 categories.
“The way our Government is contributing to the growth of mobile application industry is promising”, said Userhub Co-founder Wahid bin Ahsan. “It was really fascinating to see so many good initiatives from the local mobile application community.” Wahid continues, “In the Judging process, we mainly focused on usability of the applications, innovation in making the solution, and the degree of their implementation without Bangladesh’s socioeconomic reality. “This awards program will encourage talented mobile application developers to come up with more innovative ideas in the future.” Wahid adds.
In the award program, 8 mobile application developers are going to be awarded from 76 shortlisted participants among 212 nominations.
