Will take me a long way to the top of the heap

I know training and guidance have become increasingly essential for knowledge gain and success. It’s the only one sure key approach used to improve and sustain in the workforce. On the first day of class, I was excited and a little anxious as well. The world of user experience technology was slowly opening up to me. I learned from Userhub about how to make a real user-friendly product with a combination of a few tools and methods, like user research, information architecture, parallel design, prototypes, and UI design. I had learned real-life skills under a real project at Userhub.

I remember on my first day in class I nervous while taking a seat. I glanced around and saw my expression was mirrored in my classmates’ faces. My supervisor welcomed us warmly and even gave his speech, he clearly explained what was expected and walked us through the steps in this period. I remember leaving with a smile on my face, happy that I am learning step by step. The first week was very informative. My supervisor Wahid bin Ahsan helped me become familiar with different topics. He made us work on various assignments in class until we knew what we were doing like the backs of our hands. Finally, after a couple of weeks, we were ready to start on the first project making HTML and CSS. It was an enjoyable experience and I loved every step. It was really nerve-wracking for me but my supervisor Wahid bin Ahsan was there every step of the way, guiding and correcting my mistakes. Week by week, time flew by and before I knew it, it was the last day of my journey at Userhub.

All in all, my experiences have taught me many beneficial things to always have an open mind and be willing to work in any type of work environment, to be willing to adapt fit in a new workplace, and to always be respectful and kind to not only my supervisors but my classmates as well. What I have learned in these six months will always be a big part of me growing up. I’m looking forward to taking what I’ve learned and applying it.
Now that I have completed this course, I can feel the difference in the way I would work prior to my classes on UX. Starting from conceptualization to building up a project, everything requires knowledge on UX. Looking back over the course of the User hub, I feel that I learned many new and interesting lessons with both the technique and technology.
I really don’t know where I would be if I didn’t take this learning opportunity because, without it, I would have never learned what I have. I’d like to thank Userhub for providing me with this wonderful experience, both my mentors Wahid bin Ahsan and Nilim Ahsan. Especially Wahid bin Ahsan, who gave me some useful advice on furthering my career in the future. His advice has proven to be beyond helpful already and I’m sure it will take me to good places in the future.
